Art is not a goal or an expectation – it is a journey of discovery. I have always been an explorer, an archeologist, and a discoverer. Art, especially photography, is about the interpretation of inner reality. Photography allows me the opportunity to excavate layers of existence, to dig deeper into a subject, and to discover something new about the world around me. I feel that all things, natural or constructed are intrinsically artistic. For me, making a photograph is not always about presenting something that is beautiful or scenic. Rather, I seek to capture the environment of the subject and the essence of the moment.
